हल्द्वानी : मानसून व गर्मी में हल्द्वानी शहर में पानी की समस्याओं को देखते हुये जिलाधिकारी वंदना ने शनिवार को भविष्य की जरूरतों को देखते हुए जलपूर्ति के इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर को बढ़ाने के प्रोजेक्ट्स के संबंध में परीक्षण हेतु आज शीशमहल स्थित जलसंस्थान के फिल्टर प्लांट का स्थलीय निरीक्षण किया।
जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि मानसून एवं गर्मी के सीजन में हल्द्वानी शहर में पानी की काफी समस्या बनी रहती है। हल्द्वानी शहर की दैनिक आवश्यकता लगभग 70 से 80 MLD की है और शीशमहल प्लांट से ग्रैविटी द्वारा लगभग 35 एमएलडी पानी उपलब्ध हो पाता है । अतिरिक्त पानी के लिए नलकूपों पर निर्भरता के कारण मानसून सीजन में मोटर या पम्प खराब होने की घटनाएं होने से जलापूर्ति प्रभावित होती है ।साथ ही पम्पिंग की सप्लाई से भूमिगत जल को प्रभावित करती है, हल्द्वानी शहर में भूमिगत वाटर सप्लाई का लेवल काफी कम है , इसके लिए दीर्घकालीन प्रस्तावों पर विचार करने की आवश्यकता है। इसके समाधान के लिए कई बड़ी योजनाओं पर कार्य चल है। उन्होंने कहा एडीबी द्वारा स्टोरेज एवं वाटर सप्लाई डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन के साथ ही नलकूपों पर भी कार्य कर रहा है।
डीएम ने कहा भविष्य के दीर्घकालीन प्रस्तावों पर चर्चा के दौरान, एक प्रस्ताव जमरानी बांध परियोजना से प्रस्तावित है पूरे वाटर सप्लाई को ग्रेविटी बेस किया जाए साथ ही शीशमहल फिल्टर प्लांट जोे वर्तमान में 35 एमएलडी पानी सप्लाई शहर को हो रही है इसकी क्षमता को बढाने के सुझाव पर चर्चा हुई। उन्होंने कहा इसी के स्तर का एक फिल्टर प्लांट नये स्थान पर जिसकी क्षमता दोगुनी हो नये स्थल पर डिजाइन के सुझाव आये है। इसके लिए उन्होेंने नगर आयुक्त एवं सिटी मजिस्टेट को भूमि चिन्हित करने के निर्देश दिये।
इसके अलावा विभागीय अधिकारियों के साथ चर्चा के उपरान्त जिलाधिकारी ने प्रस्तावित समाधानों के लिए डीपीआर बनाने के निर्देश जल संस्थान के अधिकारियों को दिये। जिलाधिकारी ने निरीक्षण के दौरान वाटर के सैम्पल व (टीडीएस) भी चैक किये। उन्होंने अधिशासी अभियंता को निर्देश दिये कि नियमित रूप से पानी की सैम्पलिंग करने के निर्देश केे साथ ही सैम्पलिंग का डाटा भी सुरक्षित रखने के भी निर्देश दिये।
इस दौरान नगर आयुक्त पंकज उपाध्याय, सिटी मजिस्ट्रेट ऋचा सिंह, अधीक्षण अभियंता जलसंस्थान विशाल सक्सेना, अधिशासी अभियंता अशोक कुमार कटारिया, आरएस लोसाली, जेई रविन्द्र कुमार आदि मौजूद थे।
