देहरादून में संडे मार्केट का नया पता ISBT, पीछे-पीछे जाम भी पहुंचा; हर हफ्ते होगी परेशानी

देहरादून का संडे मार्केट अब आइएसबीटी क्षेत्र में स्थानांतरित हो गया है, जिससे पहले ही व्यस्त इस इलाके में भारी जाम लग रहा है। एमडीडीए एचआइजी सोसायटी के सामने वाले भूखंड पर बाजार लगने से यातायात व्यवस्था पूरी तरह चरमरा गई है। निवासियों ने स्थान के चयन पर सवाल उठाए हैं, क्योंकि अव्यवस्थित पार्किंग और वाहनों का अतिरिक्त दबाव स्थिति को और खराब कर रहा है। दिल्ली-देहरादून एक्सप्रेस-वे खुलने के बाद स्थिति और गंभीर होने की आशंका है।
सस्ते कपड़े, जूते आदि का संडे मार्केट का नया अड्डा अब आइएसबीटी क्षेत्र हो गया है। रविवार सुबह से ही संडे बाजार में चहल-पहल शुरू हो गई थी।
हालांकि, इसके साथ ही यह पूरा क्षेत्र जाम का नया जोन बन गया है। आइएसबीटी का जो क्षेत्र पहले से वाहनों के अत्यधिक दबाव से हांफ रहा है, संडे मार्केट के दौरान वहां की यातायात व्यवस्था पूरी तरह पटरी से उतरी नजर आई।
जिला प्रशासन के आदेश पर संडे मार्केट का संचालन इस रविवार से आइएसबीटी क्षेत्र में एमडीडीए एचआइजी सोसाइटी के सामने वाले भूखंड पर शुरू कर दिया गया है। यह भूखंड सरकार ने मेट्रो रेल परियोजना के लिए लीज पर आवंटित किया था।
वर्तमान में यह एमडीडीए के नियंत्रण में था और इस भाग पर नर्सरी का विकास किया जा रहा था। हालांकि, संडे मार्केट का संचालन शुरू होते ही सभी व्यवस्था धड़ाम हो गई और सर्वाधिक प्रभाव यातायात व्यवस्था पर पड़ा।
हरिद्वार बाईपास रोड (राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग) से सीधे जुड़े इस भाग पर दिनभर भारी जाम लगा रहा। वहीं, एमडीडीए की आवासीय सोसाइटी में रहने वाले परिवारों ने संडे मार्केट की जगह के चयन के निर्णय पर सवाल उठाए।
यहां के निवासियों ने कहा कि संडे मार्केट जैसी अस्थायी व्यवस्था वाली कारोबारी गतिविधियों में स्थान के चयन को लेकर विशेष सावधानी बरती जानी चाहिए थी। इस तरह के बाजार को अतिव्यस्त क्षेत्रों से दूर संचालित किया जाना चाहिए।
मनमर्जी की पार्किंग ने जटिल किए हालात
संडे मार्केट में खरीदारी के लिए उमड़ी भीड़ और अतिरिक्त वाहन दबाव से जाम की स्थिति तो बढ़ी है, लेकिन बेतरतीब पार्किंग ने हालात को और बदतर बना दिए। खरीदारी के लिए पहुंचे व्यक्तियों ने वाहनों को सड़क पर ही बेतरतीब ढंग से पार्क कर दिया था। पहले दिन की व्यवस्था से ही संकेत मिलने लगे हैं कि संडे मार्केट से यह पूरा क्षेत्र रविवार को भी जाम से जूझने लगेगा।
एक्सप्रेस-वे के खुलने के बाद के हालात की समीक्षा नहीं
यह संभावित है कि दिल्ली देहरादून एक्सप्रेस-वे पर वाहनों का संचालन शुरू हो जाने के बाद दून की तरफ वाहनों का दबाव 20 से 25 प्रतिशत बढ़ जाएगा। इस दबाव का पहला समाना स्थानीय वाहनों से आइएसबीटी क्षेत्र में ही होगा।
वैसे भी देहरादून और मसूरी की तरफ दिल्ली और अन्य राज्यों के पर्यटकों का अधिक आवागमन सप्ताहांत में ही होता है। संडे मार्केट भी रविवार को ही आयोजित किया जाता है। ऐसे में बाहरी वाहनों के अतिरिक्त दबाव के साथ ही संडे मार्केट का दबाव भी दून के निवासियों और सरकारी व्यवस्था की कड़ी परीक्षा लेगा।
