चमोली : पुलिस अधीक्षक श्वेता चौबे द्वारा 18 अगस्त को जन्माष्टमी पर्व पर आमजन को बधाई देते हुए नागरिकों की सुरक्षा के लिए मंदिरो तथा बाजारों में कड़े सुरक्षा प्रबंधन करने के आदेश दिए है। जन्माष्टमी के त्यौहार पर मंदिरों में भारी भीड़ रहेगी, जिस कारण सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को चाक-चौबंद करते हुए पुलिस अधीक्षक द्वारा सभी थाना व चौकी प्रभारियों को जन्माष्टमी के दृष्टिगत संदिग्ध व्यक्तियों/वाहनों की गम्भीरता पूर्वक चैकिंग करने के निर्देश दिए जिससे जिले में शांति,सद्भाव व कानून व्यवस्था बनी रही। साथ ही 24 घंटे अलर्ट रहने के निर्देश दिए है। यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि इस दौरान कोई माहौल बिगाड़ता है, कानून व्यवस्था का उल्लंघन करता है या अप्रिय घटना को अंजाम देता है उसके विरुद्ध सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी। सभी को त्यौहारों – पर्वों में अनुशासन का पूरा ध्यान रखना होगा।
