देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के नेतृत्व में उत्तराखण्ड सरकार कर्मचारियों के हितों को लेकर निरंतर संवेदनशील रवैया अपना रही है। इसी क्रम में राज्य सरकार ने एक अहम फैसला लेते हुए वन विभाग के अंतर्गत दुर्गम और दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में तैनात वनकर्मियों को आवासीय भत्ता दिए जाने का निर्णय लिया है।
मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने कहा कि “हमारे वनकर्मी प्रदेश की अमूल्य वन संपदा और वन्यजीवों की रक्षा के लिए कठिन परिस्थितियों में कार्य करते हैं। उन्हें कई बार अपने परिवारों से दूर, अत्यंत दुर्गम इलाकों में तैनात रहना पड़ता है, जहां बुनियादी सुविधाएं तक उपलब्ध नहीं होतीं। सरकार ने उनकी इन चुनौतियों को ध्यान में रखते हुए यह निर्णय लिया है कि ऐसे क्षेत्रों में तैनात वन कर्मियों को अब आवासीय भत्ता प्रदान किया जाएगा।”
यह निर्णय उन वनकर्मियों के लिए बड़ी राहत लेकर आएगा, जो लंबे समय से दूरस्थ चौकियों में सीमित संसाधनों के बीच कार्यरत हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि शासन द्वारा वित्त विभाग की सहमति से ऐसे क्षेत्रों की पहचान की जाएगी, जहां यह सुविधा लागू की जा सकेगी।
