नृसिंह मंदिर
चमोली जिले में 6,150 फीट की ऊंचाई पर ज्योतिर्मठ नगर में भगवान नृसिंह का भव्य मंदिर है, जहां शीतकाल में आदि शंकराचार्य की गद्दी और गरुड़जी की पूजा होती है।

गंगा मंदिर
उत्तरकाशी जिले में भागीरथी नदी के किनारे और हिमालय की गगनचुंबी सुदर्शन, बंदरपूंछ, सुमेरू व श्रीकंठ चोटियों की गोद में 8,528 फीट की ऊंचाई पर स्थित मुखवा (मुखीमठ) गांव को गंगा का मायका भी कहा जाता है।

यमुना मंदिर
उत्तरकाशी जिले में 8,200 फीट की ऊंचाई पर यमुना नदी के किनारे प्रकृति की सुरम्य वादियों में बसे खरसाली गांव को यमुना का मायका भी कहा जाता है।
यहां यमुना मंदिर के साथ यमुना के भाई शनिदेव का भी पौराणिक मंदिर भी है, जिसे पुरातत्व विभाग ने 800 वर्ष से अधिक पुराना बताया है।
