देवाल के लोहाजंग में नए साल के जश्न के लिए पर्यटकों की भारी भीड़ उमड़ रही है। हिल स्टेशन पर्यटकों से गुलजार हैं, जिससे स्थानीय व्यापारी उत्साहित हैं। हजारों पर्यटक रोज़ लोहाजंग बेस कैंप पहुंच रहे हैं, हालांकि कुछ बर्फ न होने से लौट रहे हैं। सभी होटल और होम स्टे बुक हैं और अतिरिक्त टेंट लगाए गए हैं। वन विभाग पर्यटकों की निगरानी कर रहा है ताकि शांतिपूर्ण माहौल बना रहे।

यूथ हास्टल हिमालय ट्रैक्टर्स, ट्रेक द हिमालय के संयोजक भुवन सिंह दानू, लक्ष्मण सिंह राणा, महिपाल सिंह दानू, प्रदीप कुमार, बाबी बिष्ट ने कहा कि रोज हजारों पर्यटन लोहाजंग बैस कैंप आ रहे हैं जबकि कई पर्यटक बर्फ न होने से वापस लौट रहे हैं।
क्षेत्र के सभी होटल, होम स्टे में जगह न होने से टेंट लगाए गए हैं। ब्रह्मताल, भेकलताल पर्यटकों की पहली पसंद है। लोहाजंग के होटल व्यवसाई गंगा सिंह पटवाल ने कहा कि क्षेत्र में 15 होम स्टे व सात होटल हैं। सभी बुक हो गए हैं। अभी पर्यटक नए साल के स्वागत करने पहुंच रहे हैं।
बिना रजिस्ट्रेशन के कोई भी पर्यटन जंगलों में रात्रि विश्राम नहीं कर सकता है। पर्यटन स्थलों में प्लास्टिक नहीं ले जा सकते हैं। अभी तक आली वेदनी, ब्रह्मताल, भेकलताल में 500 पर्यटन मौजूद हैं। जंगलों व बुग्याली क्षेत्र में आग जलाना प्रतिबंध है। वन विभाग की टीम पर्यटकों पर पूरी नजर बनाए है। नए साल का जश्न शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से मनाने के लिए निर्देशित किया गया है।

सप्ताहंत और नए वर्ष का जश्न मनाने के लिए उत्तराखंड के पर्यटन स्थलों पर सैलानी उमड़ने लगे हैं। पहाड़ों पर रौनक देखने लायक है। भले ही अब तक बर्फबारी नहीं हुई है, लेकिन इस आस को लेकर औली सहित अन्य ऊंचाई वाले इलाकों में बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटक पहुंच गए हैं। बर्फविहीन पर्वत शृंखलाएं भी उन्हें विशेष अनुभूति दे रही है।
औली में शुक्रवार को पर्यटकों के वाहनों का ऐसा रेला उमड़ा कि जाम लग गया। भीड़ का आलम यह रहा कि पर्यटकों को सड़क किनारे ही वाहनों को पार्क करना पड़ा। मसूरी, चोपता, धनोल्टी, टिहरी झील, कणाताल, नागटिब्बा, चकराता, लैंसडौन, रैथल व दयारा बुग्याल में भी पर्यटकों का तांता लगा हुआ है।
होटलों की बुकिंग 80 से 90 प्रतिशत तक पहुंच गई है। 27 दिसंबर को को चौथा शनिवार और 28 को रविवार होने के कारण दो दिन पर्यटकों की संख्या में और इजाफा होने की उम्मीद है।
दिसंबर अंतिम सप्ताह में आमतौर पर पहाड़ में बर्फबारी हो जाती थी। इसका दीदार पर्यटकों को रोमांचित करता था। इस बाद शीतकाल में अब बर्फ की सफेद चादर नहीं बिछी है, लेकिन पर्यटकों के उत्साह में कमी नहीं आई है।
रुद्रप्रयाग के चोपता–तुंगनाथ क्षेत्र में बर्फबारी नहीं होने के बाद भी सैलानी पहुंच गए हैं। यहां अधिकांश होटल और काटेज बुक हो गए हैं। शुक्रवार को चोपता में भी जाम की स्थिति बनी रही। बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटकों के पहुंचने से चोपता मार्ग पर वाहनों की लंबी कतारें लग गईं। उत्तरकाशी के रैथल और दयारा बुग्याल में ट्रेकिंग को लेकर जबरदस्त उत्साह है। अलग-अलग राज्यों से आए ट्रेकर्स और प्रकृति प्रेमी बड़ी संख्या में दयारा बुग्याल की ओर रुख कर रहे हैं। चकराता भी सैलानियों से गुलजार हो गया है।
सैलानियों में उत्साह
मुंबई से औली पहुंचे सचिन पांडया ने कहा कि औली की पहचान भले ही बर्फ से हो लेकिन इसकी सूबसूरती बर्फ के बिना भी है। यहां पर्वत शृंखलाओं के बीच रहने का आनंद ही कुछ अलग है। दोस्तों के साथ औली पहुंचे कानपुर के अक्षित ने कहा कि बिना बर्फ के भी यहां बुग्याल और जंगलों का अनुभव आनंदित करता है। औली में पर्यटन कारोबारी अजय भट्ट का कहना है कि 4000 से अधिक पर्यटक औली पहुंचे हैं।
मसूरी में रौनक बढ़ी
मसूरी : मसूरी व समीपवर्ती पर्यटन स्थल, बाजार व मालरोड पूरे देर रात तक गुलजार रहे। कैंपटी फाल, भट्ठाफाल, बुरांशखंडा, गनहिल, चार दुकान, जार्ज एवरेस्ट, अटल उद्यान में दिनभर पर्यटकों की आवाजाही रही। मसूरी में चल रहे छह दिवसीय विंटरलाइन कार्निवाल से भी पर्यटकों की आमद बढ़ी है।
हालांकि किंक्रेग-लाइब्रेरी-जीरो प्वाइंट मार्ग, किंक्रेग-मैसानिक लाज-घंटाघर मार्ग तथा मलिंगार-चार दुकान मार्ग पर दिनभर रुक रुक कर जाम लगता रहा। होटल शनिवार के लिए 70 से 80 प्रतिशत तक बुक हो चुके हैं।
