चमोली : जोशीमठ स्थित प्राचीन शंकराचार्य मठ में हनुमान जन्मोत्सव का कार्यक्रम बड़े ही धूमधाम से मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर भक्तों ने प्राचीन गद्दी ज्योतिर मठ पहुंचकर श्री सुंदरकांड का पाठ एवं कीर्तन भजन किए। ज्योतिर मठ के प्रबंधक स्वामी रामानंद सरस्वती ने बताया कि आश्रम में प्रतिवर्ष हनुमान जन्मोत्सव के कार्यक्रम को हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया जाता है। कहा की हनुमान जन्मोत्सव हिंदुओं के महान पर्व में से एक है, हर धर्मावलंबी को श्री हनुमान जन्मोत्सव धूमधाम से मनाना चाहिए। कार्यक्रम के दौरान पीठ पुरोहित ऋषि प्रसाद सती, देवी प्रसाद देवली, शंभू प्रसाद चमोला, लक्ष्मण सिंह रावत, नितिन व्यास आदि कई भक्त मौजूद रहे।
