देहरादून : उत्तराखंड में तीरथ सिंह रावत ने नए मुख्यमंत्री की शपथ ली, मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत को 4pm पर राज्यपाल बेबी रानी मौर्य ने शपथ दिलाई, सीएम तीरथ राज्य के 10 वें मुख्यमंत्री बने,9नवम्बर 2000 को देश के 27वें राज्य के रूप में अस्तित्व में आया उत्तराखंड तब उत्तराँचल के नाम से जाना जाता था,तब भारतीय जनता पार्टी को ही सरकार बनाने का अवसर मिला था और उत्तरप्रदेश विधान परिषद के लम्बे समय तक सभापति रहे,वरिष्ठ नेता देहरादून निवासी नित्यानंद स्वामी को राज्य का प्रथम मुख्यमंत्री बनने का गौरव हासिल हुआ,उनके बाद भगत सिंह कोश्यारी मुख्यमंत्री बने तो 2002 में पहली निर्वाचित सरकार के मुखिया की कमान देश के जाने माने दिग्गज राजनेता रहे पंडित नारायण दत्त तिवारी के हाथों आयी, अभी तक पंडित नारायण तिवारी ही एक मात्र ऐसे मुख्यमंत्री रहे हैं जिन्होंने पूरे 5 वर्ष तक अपना कार्यकाल पूर्ण किया। उनके बाद मेजर जनरल (रिटायर्ड) भुवन चन्द्र खण्डूरी प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री बने, बीसी खंडूरी के बाद देश के वर्तमान शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री बने, और उनके बाद पुनः बीसी खंडूरी प्रदेश के मुखिया बने। उनके बाद विजय बहुगुणा मुख्यमंत्री बने और फिर हरीश रावत प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री बने, हरीश रावत के बाद पूर्व सीएम त्रिवेन्द्र सिंह रावत और अब तीरथ सिंह रावत प्रदेश के नए मुख्यमंत्री बने हैं।
