मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने गुरूवार को तिब्बती मार्केट, देहरादून स्थित ओल्ड मल्टीपरपज हॉल में सासंद खेल महोत्सव-2025 के समापन समारोह कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने विभिन्न खेल स्पर्धाओं में विजेता टीम को सम्मानित भी किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री, भारत रत्न, अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी की जयंती पर उन्हें नमन करते हुए कहा कि यह अवसर केवल एक तिथि नहीं, बल्कि राष्ट्र निर्माण, सुशासन और लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों को नमन करने का है। उन्होंने अपने जीवन से यह सिखाया कि राजनीति सत्ता का साधन नहीं, बल्कि राष्ट्र सेवा का संकल्प होती है। उत्तराखंड राज्य निर्माण से लेकर देश को नई दिशा देने तक, उन्होंने हमेशा युवाओं, खिलाड़ियों और प्रतिभाओं को आगे बढ़ाने का सपना देखा। आज खेलों के माध्यम से जो सशक्त, आत्मविश्वासी और अनुशासित युवा भारत उभर रहा है, यह अटल जी के विचारों को सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने आज वर्चुअल माध्यम से सांसद खेल महोत्सव के समापन अवसर पर खिलाड़ियों का मार्गदर्शन कर उनका उत्साह बढ़ाने का कार्य किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री की प्रेरणा से प्रारंभ हुआ सांसद खेल महोत्सव आज केवल एक आयोजन नहीं, बल्कि गाँव-गाँव से खेल प्रतिभाओं को पहचान देने का सशक्त माध्यम बन चुका है। इस महोत्सव ने प्रदेश के युवाओं को एक ऐसा मंच दिया है, जहाँ से वे जिला, राज्य और राष्ट्रीय स्तर तक अपनी पहचान बना रहे हैं। यह “फिट इंडिया, स्पोर्ट्स इंडिया, स्ट्रॉन्ग इंडिया” के संदेश को धरातल पर उतारने का सशक्त उदाहरण है। इसके माध्यम से स्थानीय, पारंपरिक और लोक खेलों को पुनर्जीवित किया गया है और हर वर्ग के बच्चों को खेल के अवसर मिले हैं। खेल, युवाओं को नशे से दूर रखने और सकारात्मक दिशा देने का सबसे प्रभावी माध्यम हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड में आयोजित 38वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों में उत्तराखंड के खिलाड़ियों ने 103 पदक जीतकर राज्य के खेल इतिहास में स्वर्णिम अध्याय जोड़ा है। आज उत्तराखंड को देवभूमि के साथ-साथ खेलभूमि के रूप में भी पहचाना जाने लगा है। उत्तराखंड विश्वस्तरीय “स्पोर्ट्स इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर’’ के मामले में भी देश के प्रमुख राज्यों में गिना जाने लगा है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य में “स्पोर्ट्स लेगेसी प्लान’’ लागू किया जा रहा है, जिसके अंतर्गत प्रदेश के आठ प्रमुख शहरों में 23 खेल अकादमियों की स्थापना की जाएगी। इन अकादमियों में प्रत्येक वर्ष 920 विश्वस्तरीय एथलीट और 1000 अन्य खिलाड़ी उच्च स्तरीय प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर सकेंगे।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हल्द्वानी में उत्तराखंड का प्रथम खेल विश्वविद्यालय एवं लोहाघाट में महिला स्पोर्ट्स कॉलेज स्थापित करने की दिशा में भी तेजी से कार्य किये जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि नई खेल नीति के अंतर्गत राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पदक विजेता खिलाड़ियों को ’’आउट ऑफ टर्न’’ सरकारी नौकरी प्रदान की जा रही है। मुख्यमंत्री खेल विकास निधि, मुख्यमंत्री खिलाड़ी प्रोत्साहन योजना, मुख्यमंत्री उदीयमान खिलाड़ी योजना तथा खेल किट योजना जैसे कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से राज्य के उभरते हुए युवा खिलाड़ियों को प्रोत्साहित करने का काम कर रही है। राष्ट्रीय खेल दिवस के अवसर पर राज्य के उत्कृष्ट खिलाड़ियों को 50-50 लाख रुपए की सम्मान राशि से भी पुरस्कृत किया गया।
इस अवसर पर राज्यसभा सांसद नरेश बंसल, लोक सभा सांसद माला राज्य लक्ष्मी शाह, दायित्वधारी विनोद उनियाल, विशेष प्रमुख सचिव खेल अमित सिन्हा, मुख्य विकास अधिकारी देहरादून अभिनव शाह एवं खिलाड़ी मौजूद थे।
