हल्द्वानी : केंद्रीय रक्षा एवं पर्यटन राज्य मंत्री अजय भट्ट ने सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्रालय भारत सरकार द्वारा संचालित एडिप एवं राष्ट्रीय वयोश्री योजना का लाभ उठाने की अपील की है।

केंद्रीय मंत्री भट्ट ने दिव्यांगजनों एवं वरिष्ठजनों से अपील करते हुए कहा कि नैनीताल जिले में सर्वप्रथम आठ विकास खण्डों में भारत सरकार द्वारा शिविरों का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इन शिविरों के माध्यम से सर्वप्रथम पात्र लोगों का रजिस्ट्रेशन के उपरान्त परीक्षण कर दिव्यांगजनों एवं वरिष्ठजनों को सरकार द्वारा निशुल्क जीवन सहायक उपकरण उपलब्ध कराये जायेंगे। उन्होंने कहा सरकार का प्रयास है कि कोई भी पात्र व्यक्ति भारत सरकार द्वारा संचालित एडिप एवं राष्ट्रीय वयोश्री योजना से वंचित ना रह जाऐ। इसके लिए उन्होंने जप्रतिनिधियों, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता के साथ ही ग्राम प्रधान, जिला पंचायत, क्षेत्र पंचायत सदस्य आदि लोगों से अपील की है कि वे अपने-अपने क्षेत्रों में जाकर दिव्यांगजनों एवं वरिष्ठजनों को इस योजना के बारे मे जानकारी दें, ताकि अन्तिम छोर तक के पात्र व्यक्ति को इसका लाभ मिल सके।

केंद्रीय मंत्री भट्ट ने बताया कि 28 सितंबर रामलीला मैदान पीरुमदारा रामनगर में शिविर लगेगा। जबकि 29 सितंबर को तहसील मैदान खँश्यू ओखलकांडा में शिविर आयोजित होगा । इसके अलावा रामलीला मैदान रीठा पोखरा रामगढ़ ब्लॉक में 30 सितंबर को इस शिविर का आयोजन होगा। जबकि राजकीय बालिका इंटर कॉलेज भेटलिया धारी ब्लॉक में 1 अक्टूबर को आयोजन होगा। मंत्री भट्ट ने बताया कि 3 अक्टूबर को मिनी स्टेडियम बेतालघाट में और 4 अक्टूबर को तिरुपति बैंकट हॉल गोरापड़ाव लालकुआं में इस शिविर का आयोजन किया जाएगा। उन्होंने सभी लोगों से इस योजना के प्रचार प्रसार की अपील की है जिससे कि पात्र व्यक्ति को लाभ मिल सके।
